Contemplative Practice sessions are offered to individuals seeking support in deepening their spiritual practice and contemplative life.

My approach is informed by over a decade of dedicated meditation practice and study of contemplative and embodied traditions, including training in spiritual care across a range of faith and wisdom traditions. I identify as a Buddhist practitioner, a poet, and a mystic at heart, and my work is grounded in both lived practice and ongoing inquiry.

In the spirit of the Buddhist concept of kalyānamitra - often translated as “spiritual friend” - this offering is intended as a supportive, collaborative relationship for those seeking to cultivate a more intentional contemplative life. Together, we can explore your relationship to spirituality, practice, meaning, embodiment, and the realities of being human in this challenging world. We may also work with the roadblocks, questions, or tensions that arise along the path of practice.

Contemplative Practice sessions include:

  • One 60-minute session per month

  • A collaborative, conversational space to explore spirituality, contemplative practice, and personal inquiry

  • Support in working with obstacles, questions, or periods of uncertainty that may arise within spiritual life

  • Opportunities to engage in shared contemplative practices - such as meditation, prayer, or embodied awareness practices - in ways that support your own spiritual path

  • Optional outdoor sessions during the warmer months, including contemplative walking or sitting practices in nature

This offering may be particularly supportive for individuals who already have an established contemplative or spiritual practice, or who are seeking guidance in integrating practice more fully into daily life.

Please Note: Contemplative Practice Support is a separate, non-psychotherapy offering intended to support spiritual exploration, contemplative practice, and personal inquiry. It is not a substitute for psychotherapy, mental health treatment, or crisis support. To honour the distinct nature of these services and maintain clear professional boundaries, I do not offer both psychotherapy and Contemplative Practice Support to the same individual concurrently. Thank you for your understanding.
